Physician assistant students, faculty volunteer at COVID-19 Alternate Care Site

Students and faculty with CSU Monterey Bay鈥檚 Master of Physician Assistant (MSPA) Program continue to volunteer their time, energy and skills to fight COVID-19. They are now helping set up an Alternate Care Site (ACS) at Marina Airport.

Helping Fight Covid-19

Early on in the global pandemic, CSU Monterey Bay student Angela Albanese learned the alarming news about the heavy toll the coronavirus was taking in her home country of Italy. The epicenter of Europe鈥檚 outbreak, Italy logged the highest number of coronavirus deaths in the world in March.

Distance Learning

When CSU Monterey Bay moved to limited campus operations in March to slow the spread of COVID-19, all classes shifted to virtual instruction in just one week.

Longtime Monterey Peninsula resident, Robert Darwin, has committed to a legacy gift for student scholarships to California State University, Monterey Bay (性视界传媒). The largest gift in the history of the 25-year-old university, Darwin鈥檚 generosity will provide necessary scholarships for talented and gifted students from low-income and impoverished families with the greatest financial need.
