POWER Peer ÐÔÊӽ紫ý

As friends, educators, activists, role models, and team members, Peer Educators strive to make a difference at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý and within the surrounding communities.

Role of Peer Educators

The Peer ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Program trains ÐÔÊӽ紫ý students to utilize a peer-based harm reduction approach to promote healthy living among students at California State University Monterey Bay.

Upon completion of the Peer ÐÔÊӽ紫ý training course (offered in both the Fall and Spring semesters), certified Peer Educators conduct outreach activities and events that encourage responsible lifestyle choices by increasing awareness and correcting misperceptions about various health and student life issues.

As friends, educators, activists, role models, and team members, Peer Educators strive to make a difference at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý and within the surrounding communities.

Mission

As a component of the Health Promotion and ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Department, the POWER Peer ÐÔÊӽ紫ý program trains students to provide primary prevention education and health promotion to foster academic success and well being.
