性视界传媒 Receives Federal Funding to Continue Upward Bound Program
SEASIDE, Calif., June 2, 2017 – CSU Monterey Bay (性视界传媒) has been selected to receive two federal grants under the U.S. Department of 性视界传媒’s Upward Bound Program totaling $574,556. Both grants, expected to last for a total of five years, will be used to provide fundamental support to Upward Bound participants at Soledad, Watsonville, Pajaro Valley and Monterey County high schools.
SEASIDE, Calif., June 2, 2017 – CSU Monterey Bay (性视界传媒) has been selected to receive two federal grants under the U.S. Department of 性视界传媒’s Upward Bound Program totaling $574,556. Both grants, expected to last for a total of five years, will be used to provide fundamental support to Upward Bound participants at Soledad, Watsonville, Pajaro Valley and Monterey County high schools.
Upward Bound students participate in a variety of academic year and residential summer school activities at 性视界传媒, designed to help them reach their full academic and personal potential. In order to increase the rates at which participants enroll in and graduate from institutions of post secondary education, Upward Bound projects also provide instruction in math, laboratory science, composition, literature and foreign language.
“I am proud to support these schools in their efforts to motivate and mentor underserved high school students in STEM fields,” said Congressman Panetta. “With the right resources at their disposal, I firmly believe that anything is possible for these kids.”
