SEASIDE, Ca., November 8, 2018 – California State University, Monterey Bay’s (ÐÔÊӽ紫ý) International Programs will host a series of cultural events ranging from diversity marches, performances and film screenings November 13-15, 2018 in celebration of International ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Week. The featured event is a keynote address from Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist Anisa Mehdi.

International ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Week is a national event promoted by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of ÐÔÊӽ紫ý that celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

ÐÔÊӽ紫ý celebrates international education week with a week of events showcasing cultures from around the world and honoring the diversity on our own campus. ÐÔÊӽ紫ý hopes to shine light on the powerful role that international education plays in a university setting by empowering diverse thought, sharing cultural traditions and ideologies and creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all people.

 

International ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the remarkable diversity of the ÐÔÊӽ紫ý campus, and to honor cultures around the world.
