SEASIDE, Calif., October 24, 2019 – California State University, Monterey Bay (ÐÔÊӽ紫ý) will host a series of Dia de Los Muertos events on Friday, November 1, 2019. The events, free and open to the public, will be offered on ÐÔÊӽ紫ý's main campus and at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý's Center for Arts and Culture located at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý at Salinas City Center.

SEASIDE, Ca., September 19, 2019 – California State University, Monterey Bay (ÐÔÊӽ紫ý) has received a grant from the Hospice Giving Foundation in the amount of $60,000 to fund a regional palliative care study. The feasibility study, led by ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Department of Nursing chair and associate professor Alyssa Erikson, will plan how best to offer palliative care education in Monterey County.

SEASIDE, Calif., September 16, 2019 – ÐÔÊӽ紫ý senior Selena Velasquez has received the 2019 California State University (CSU) Trustees’ Award for Outstanding Achievement, the CSU’s highest recognition of student achievement. Velasquez is one of 23 awardees, one from each campus in the CSU, who was publicly recognized during a CSU Board of Trustees meeting on September 24-25, 2019.
