Success as a key player on the Otter basketball team, summer work as a campus orientation leader, and finding her ÐÔÊӽ紫ý “family” has given Samiya Terry courage she didn’t know she had.

Roshini Ramachandran, who joined the CSU Monterey Bay faculty as an assistant professor of chemistry this fall, is engaged in studying nanomaterials for applications in defense, medicine and energy storage. 

A “grito” competition highlights the Celebrando Nuestra Independencia, a Hispanic Serving Institutions Week event.

“I personally like to think of voting as a way to support my community and to exemplify that I care about my country and other people.”

September is not only National Emergency Preparedness Month, it is also National Campus Safety Awareness Month.

“We’ve expanded the importance of student outcomes: graduation rates and graduate salaries,” the Journal wrote.
